Thermal Insulation

Thermal Insulation

Thermal insulation can be categorised into HOT insulation & COLD insulation.

HOT insulation is to reduce the loss or transfer of temperature the between objects in thermal contact or in range of radiative influence. This is majorly done with help of rockwool of variable density & thickness.

COLD insulation is done for equipment working under very low temperatures. Cold insulation is generally applied where the environmental temperature is below the ambient temperature. It can be done with help of thermocol, Poly-urethane of required density and shape. Thermal insulation can be achieved with specially engineered methods or processes, as well as with suitable object shapes and materials
